Does UCSF offer food assistance to students?

Visit the food assistance webpage to learn about these and other campus food programs, and to view instructions for enrolling in CalFresh, the government-funded food assistance program.
What type of counseling and wellness services are available to UCSF students?
UCSF Student Mental Health and Wellbeing (SMHW) offers counseling, workshops, lectures, small group series and education to improve your health. You can access resources for navigating personal concerns, identifying options, reducing stress and solving problems on the SMHW webpage.
I provide care for a loved one. Does UCSF offer back-up care support if my regular caregiver is unavailable when I need to be at school?
All UCSF students subject to the UCSF Student Services Fee have free access to back-up care. The UCSF Back-Up Care Program serves all ages and helps students when their regular caregiver is unavailable. Students receive 10 back-up care days per academic year (July 1 through June 30) and have zero co-pays. If the student does not need all 10 days, they can exchange their back-up care days for other benefits such as tutoring services and day camps during select school breaks. Learn more about child and adult/elder back-up care support, and sign up for the program.
