Contact Student Affairs

The Office of Student Affairs provides services in three main areas: admissions for prospective students; progressions for matriculated students; and licensure and degree verification for graduates.

Admissions: Student services advisors and staff in the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) oversee general inquiries and prospective student counseling for our programs. They advise prospective students on program requirements and admissions processes, assist applicants with the application system, coordinate and assist faculty and admissions committees on application processing; applicant screening, interviews, decisions, communications and reporting. Advisors also support onboarding processes and programming for new student orientations.

Progressions: Student services advisors and OSA staff work with matriculating students to ensure all degree milestones are met, advise on school and campus-wide policies and procedures, process various school and Graduate Division petitions, meet with students to review course enrollment and graduation requirements, and connect students with campus resources and information such as advisors for student government and referral for emergency aid.

Licensure and Degree Verification: Student services advisors and OSA staff assist all recent graduates with advanced practice certification and licensure in California and nation-wide. Staff also assist alumni with education verifications and additional licensure, including degree conferral information, dates of attendance, and curriculum and syllabi information for outside agencies and organizations.

Additional Services: For academic programs that have a separate infrastructure to support admissions, progression and licensure/degree verification, the OSA staff is available to consult and assist as needed. In addition, you may find the following school and campus resources helpful:

The Office of Student Affairs is here to help guide you through the admissions process for each of our nursing programs.

Feel free to reach out to the student affairs advisor who oversees the program you would like to apply to. If you are unsure who to contact, call our general office line or email us and we’ll connect you with the right person.
