The School of Nursing and its dynamic community members lead initiatives that push the boundaries of the health sciences and create exceptional student learning experiences, a hallmark of our longstanding distinction as a nationally recognized leader in nursing education.
This past year, we achieved significant milestones in research, clinical practice and education. We continue to lead the country as the No. 1 public recipient of competitive National Institutes of Health grants, driving research that improves health and health care. We formed new and expanded partnerships with UCSF Health, community-based organizations and public health departments are transforming patient care for communities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. And we successfully launched the BSN Entry to DNP-Advanced Nursing Focus pathway, enabling us to prepare more nurse leaders ready to tackle increasingly complex national and global health challenges.
I invite you to read our 2023-2024 Annual Report and join me in acknowledging and celebrating the focus and dedication of our faculty, staff, students, and alumni across research, education, patient care and public service. It is their collective drive and commitment that makes our work possible.
