Reduced Tuition and Fees for UC Employees
Regular status employees of the University of California in these eligible titles who meet our admission requirements are eligible for a two-thirds reduction in the Student Services Fee and Tuition when enrolled in regular session courses of up to 12 units or four courses per quarter, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. This tuition and fee reduction for employees is available through spring 2026.
Students registered in self-supporting programs do not pay the Student Services Fee or Tuition and are not eligible for the reduced fee enrollment in any quarter.
The reduced fee enrollment benefit is available to non-represented UC employees and most represented employees. Represented employees should consult their bargaining unit's contract for specific information.
Employees who are eligible to receive reduced fees under this policy are not eligible to receive an additional reduction in fees under the Policy and Procedures Concerning Part-Time Study.
Reduced fee enrollment status does not include access to student services and facilities that the Student Services Fee funds, which includes but is not limited to gymnasiums and Student Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, unless the employee is otherwise entitled to them.
