Welcoming New Development Staff

Maggie Putnam

The Office of University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is pleased to announce two new staff appointments.

Assistant Director of Development Putman

Headshot of Maggie Putman

Maggie Putman will be continuing to advance the Schools Team as assistant director of development for the Schools of Dentistry and Nursing, effective July 3, 2017. In her new role, Maggie will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and supporting the Dean’s Advisory Councils for each School and will be reporting directly to Senior Director of Development Lynnette Teti. Maggie joined UDAR in 2016, as fundraising analyst for the School of Pharmacy and the Graduate Division, quickly forging relationships not only within UDAR, but also with School leadership, faculty, and donors. Maggie’s initiative and collaborative spirit make her a valued member of School development.

A native of Iowa, Maggie led and managed volunteer committees at the Iowa City Chamber of Commerce prior to moving to San Francisco. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa, with a degree in International Studies/Anthropology and minor in Spanish Language. Maggie enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, and spending time with friends and family, including her nephew who lives in Marin County.

Fundraising Analyst Rosencwaig

Headshot of Monica Rosencwaig

Monica Rosencwaig is the new fundraising analyst for the Schools of Dentistry and Nursing. This role is central in keeping our team organized and prepared for all of our fundraising activities. She really enjoys working at UDAR and is a great fit for the Schools team. Monica holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and sales. She started as a temp for UDAR in mid-October. Before moving from Colorado, she lived in Costa Rica where she opened her own restaurant. She loves to cook and bake, which is always welcome on our team since we love to eat and laugh.

Monica spends her free time mountain biking, skiing, and cooking healthy meals with her husband, David Castillo who is a post-doctoral scholar at UCSF. He received his PhD from the University of Colorado where they previously lived.

Congratulations and welcome to the Schools team, Maggie and Monica!
