UCSF Faculty Win RAP Grant to Study Affordable LGBTQ Age-Friendly Housing

Assistant Professor Jason Flatt, PhD, MPH, of the Institute for Health & Aging, Assistant Professor Meredith Greene, MD, of the School of Medicine’s Division of Geriatrics, Assistant Professor of Social and Behavioral Sciences Leslie Dubbin, RN, PhD, and Associate Professor Madeline Deutsch, MD, MPH, of the Department of Family & Community Medicine, have been awarded a $75,000 Team Science Resource Allocation Program (RAP) grant for their project, “The Role of Affordable LGBTQ Age-Friendly Housing on the Health of LGBTQ Older Adults: A Natural Experiment.” The study will be funded jointly by the UCSF National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health and the Academic Senate. Advisors on the project include Professor of Medicine Margot Kushel, MD, and Professor of Epidemiology & Biostatistics John Neuhaus, PhD.
