UC San Francisco (UCSF)’s primary care practice-based research network—the San Francisco Bay Area Collaborative Research Network (SFBayCRN) welcomed two, new faculty from the School of Nursing to their Steering Committee. Professor and Interim Chair of Community Health Systems Carol Dawson-Rose, RN, PhD, FAAN, and Assistant Professor in Residence Linda Park, RN, PhD, FNP, will help guide the SFBayCRN's mission to facilitate mutually beneficial practice-based research partnerships between UCSF researchers and community-based primary care organizations, practices, and clinicians in the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California.

A unifying goal of the SFBayCRN’s work is to support the development and dissemination of practice-based evidence to improve clinical practices and health outcomes in diverse communities. Members include community-based clinicians, practices, health care organizations, and UCSF faculty.

SFBayCRN is part of the UCSF Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute's Community Engagement and Health Policy Program (CE&HP).
