On May 26, 2017, graduates of the UC San Francisco School of Nursing were celebrated in the 2017 Commencement, held at Davies Symphony Hall in the Civic Center of San Francisco. Distinguished guest, President UCSF Medical Center, Sheila Antrum delivered the address.
The afternoon's printed program listed several student and faculty awards, 15 candidates for the Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD degree), 7 candidates for the Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology, and 174 candidates for the Master of Science degree.
