Job Description:
Assistant Professor Nhung Nguyen, PhD, PharmD, is seeking a research assistant to support qualitative data analysis for a project focused on nicotine and cannabis vaping cessation among young adults.
The project involves in-depth interviews designed to explore participants’ needs, preferences, and recommendations for cessation support. The interview data have been preliminarily coded, and the study team is looking for a research assistant to assist with synthesizing and summarizing key findings, particularly participants' cessation needs and suggestions for a future smartphone-based intervention.
Ideal candidates will have experience with qualitative analysis and an interest in substance use, digital health interventions, or public health. There is potential for co-authorship on manuscripts resulting from this work, depending on the nature of contributions and discussions with the Principal Investigator.
Work Location, Time Commitment and Compensation:
This position may be completed remotely and is expected to be eight hours per week. Compensation will be in accordance with the UCSF research assistant pay rate.
