School Rallies for the Future

Chancellor and Dean

UCSF Chancellor Susan Desmond-Hellmann, MD, MPH (pictured at right) introduced a two-day event for the School of Nursing community. Called by Dean David Vlahov, RN, PhD, the Rally was an opportunity for faculty and staff to address the future of UCSF School of Nursing.

For two days, the UCSF School of Nursing faculty and staff pondered its long term future, sketching the beginnings of an ambitious blueprint to guide the nursing program over the next five years.

"What do we want to look like?" he said during the faculty workshop he called a "rally" and advertised via YouTube videos. "And how do we get there?"
