Dr. Rob Slaughter, since 1993 the School's Director of Research and Information Technology, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012, following an eight-year battle with melanoma. In addition to his administrative duties, Dr. Slaughter was also active as a faculty member throughout his career, including teaching the Nursing 212B (Quantitative Methods) course.
