At the American Heart Asssociation annual meeting last week, Linda Park, who finished her PhD in Nursing in June at UCSF won the Young Investigator Martha Hill Award - the most prestigious award for a new PhD. She was awarded for her efforts to create a text-messaging intervention for patients with coronary heart disease.
