Dayna Moore Selected for Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program

Headshot for Dayna Moore

The School of Nursing is excited to announce that Dayna Moore, MA, has been selected for the Office of Diversity and Outreach’s Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program. Dayna is the operations manager in the UCSF Graduate Division Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Interprofessional Leadership (MS-HAIL) program. Following a competitive selection process, with only twenty available spaces in the Program, the inaugural cohort was decided. MS-HAIL Director and Clinical Professor Mary Louise Fleming, RN, PhD, shared the news of Dayna’s selection on LinkedIn exclaiming, “Dayna was chosen for her commitment to diversity and equity issues, and her capacity to enhance the UCSF community through action.” This novel certificate program will explore foundational concepts essential to enhancing an inclusive work environment, through lecture, experiential activities, and independent learning activities.

The goal of the program is to develop a more capable workforce by enhancing staff competencies and capacity relevant to diversity, equity, and inclusion, in order to leverage these toward achieving and sustaining campus wide excellence.

The Program is led by UCSF Department of Psychiatry Associate Professor Dr. Élida M. Bautista, whose research, teaching, and clinical work have focused on multicultural mental health issues, primarily with underserved populations presenting with chronic trauma.

Congratulations, Dayna!
