Kimberly Baltzell, RN, PhD, FAAN and Sally Rankin, RN, PhD, FNP, FAAN were co-authors – along with Sharon Rose, MPH, program manager for the Center for Global Health and monitoring and evaluation officer for the Global Health Nursing Fellowship and Global Health Nursing Fellowship alumnae Irene Ritterman, RN, MS, FNP, and Sarah Meyer, RN, BSN, CPN, MS, ACPNP, of “Patient and family centered nursing rounds as a platform for continuing education of nurses in a rural hospital in Haiti.” The paper, published in the Journal of Nursing Education and Practice, describes how an academic non-profit collaboration adapted nursing rounds to create a bedside teaching activity for nurses at a Haitian hospital.
