Three Faculty Selected To Be Inducted Into American Academy of Nursing

Three SON faculty — Monica McLemore, PhD, MPH, Linda G. Park, PhD, MS, FNP-BC, and Sandra Staveski, PhD, RN, CPNP-AC — will be inducted into the American Academy of Nursing’s 2019 class of fellows.

The three faculty members are among the 231 distinguished nurse leaders to be selected for induction from around the United States and 16 other countries. The induction ceremony will be held Oct. 24-26 at the AAN’s annual policy conference in Washington, D.C.

The School has about 120 current and emeritus faculty who are fellows of the Academy.

The Academy is comprised of more than 2,600 nurse leaders who have been recognized for their extraordinary commitment to the promotion of the public’s health through evidence and innovation. Joyce A. Trompeta, PhD, PNP, from the UCSF School of Medicine has also been selected for induction this year.
