2017 Shobe Endowed Lectureship

These are uncertain times for the American health system and health policy. This lecture seeks to explore fundamental principles of justice and health policy and to step back and assess how the United States health system measures up on these dimensions. It seeks to illuminate the role of institutions in implementing health equity across the population and what pathways for future federal and state reforms might align our system more closely with such principles and move us closer to a more just health system.
