Understanding the Nursing Shortage

The U.S. has experienced nursing shortages periodically since the early 1900s, but the magnitude of the current nursing shortage is greater than ever before. In this panel talk hosted by the UCSF Alumni Association, UCSF School of Nursing professors Joanne Spetz and Carol Dawson-Rose, assistant professor Natalie Wilson and UCSF Chief Nursing Officer Pat Patton discussed the current national nursing shortage and potential solutions to solve it.
