Tuition and Fees

Each year, the Student Financial Aid Office develops standard allowable budgets for financial aid recipients. These budgets are used to determine financial aid eligibility and include a cost of living allowance; fees and non-resident supplemental tuition, if applicable; books and supplies. Actual tuition, fees, and charges are subject to change by the Regents of the University of California and could be affected by increases or reductions in State funding, or other developments. Student services fees and tuition are subject to change without notice. Please visit the Financial Aid Office's website for more information.

2017-2018 STUDENT FEES (Updated June 2, 2017)

The tuition, fees, and charges posted here are estimates based on currently approved amounts. These figures may not be final. Actual tuition, fees, and charges are subject to change by the Regents of the University of California and could be affected by state funding reductions. Accordingly, final approved levels (and thus a student's final balance due) may differ from the amounts shown.

*Fees for the first twelve months of the MEPN program are higher than the standard University rates for student tuition. In the second and third year of the MEPN program, fees are set at the standard university rates listed on the UCSF Registrar website under the category Nursing Masters. Fees do not include housing, meals, transportation, supplies, textbooks, or other living expenses. All listed fees are subject to change without notice.

Students admitted to this program can apply for financial aid and for federal and private loans. Aid information is available from the UCSF Financial Aid Office website. Be sure to identify yourself as a newly admitted Nursing MEPN student.

Remember also that being admitted to MEPN at UCSF means that your first classes will begin in June (not in September). Therefore, your applications for student aid and your other pre-enrollment preparations should begin as early and as quickly as possible.
