I am pleased to announce that Dr. Shari Dworkin has been appointed to the position of Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the UCSF School of Nursing effective July 1, 2014.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that the Chancellor has approved the School of Nursing selection committee’s recommendation for the next Nursing Alumni/Mary Harms Chair. This endowed chair position will be held by Dr. Ruth Malone.
New research from UC San Francisco and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation has found that clients participating in a harm-reduction substance use treatment program, the Stonewall Project, decrease their use of stimulants, such as methamphetamine, and reduce their sexual risk behavior.
