Rebekah Kaplan is in full scope clinical midwifery practice at San Francisco General Hospital and Mission Neighborhood Health Center. She is also faculty in the the UCSF School of Nursing Family Health Care Nursing Department and teaches antepartum care and coordinates the nurse-midwifery antepartum clinical courses. She is a clinical preceptor in the antepartum, CenteringPregnancy, intrapartum and postpartum settings. Rebekah also assists with administration of the UCSF Nurse-Midwifery/WHNP education programs, including: curriculum development, coordination, evaluation, faculty and preceptor support, MPEN and MS student selection, test coordination and midwifery student clinical scheduling. Areas of interest include: interprofessional education, adolescent health and pregnancy, excellence in clinical preception, academic test construction, working with students with clinical challenges, antepartum midwifery care and cholestasis of pregnancy.
