Christopher Fox, RN, MS, ANP
A graduate of the UCSF Adult Nurse Practitioner Program’s HIV/AIDS specialty, I have provided front-line healthcare services to people living with HIV/AIDS in San Francisco for over seven years—both as a nurse and a public health professional.
My academic work focuses on the integration of HIV/AIDS primary care curriculum into the education of nurse practitioners. I currently teach a course on HIV epidemiology, policy, and prevention in the School of Nursing’s HIV/AIDS Focus. I also teach courses to first-year students in the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program.
My clinical practice is in urgent care at the UCSF Medical Center Screening and Acute Care Clinic (SACC), and I am a volunteer clinician at Magnet, a sexual health clinic for gay, bisexual, and transgender men that is a program of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
