Nurse Practitioner Residency - Introduction

A one-year, primary care residency program for licensed Nurse Practitioners
offered by

   Glide Health Services
     in partnership with
UCSF School of Nursing and Community Health Center, Inc.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) Residency Program offered at Glide Health Services is a 12-month paid program celebrating its third anniversary, modeled after NP Residency prototypes pioneered by Dr. Margaret Flinter, Senior Vice President and Clinical Director of the Community Health Center in Middletown, CT. At Glide Health Services, faculty from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) collaborate on the curriculum and core competencies, preparing nurse practitioners to deliver patient-centered care in an entirely nurse-managed health center.
