Tristin Penland, a 2014 alumna of the Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Interprofessional Leadership Program at the School of Nursing, is a 2022 recipient of the UCSF Chancellor Award for Exceptional University Management.
As the patient care director in Adult Critical Care Services at UCSF Health, Penland oversees about 600 critical care nurses and her work has been instrumental in the delivery of quality patient care, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. Watch a video about her work.
