Job Description:
This Teaching Assistant (TA) position will support Sociology 289A Advanced Quantitative Research Methods I and 289B Quantitative Research Methods II.
Job Responsibilities:
The TA will assist with grading, assist with developing and maintaining the Canvas course site, lead the S289A course lab, hold office hours and meet with students in small groups or individually, as needed. The TA will also assist students with S289B research projects and support the Faculty of Record (FOR) with other course-related tasks, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior successful completion of Sociology 289A and 289B
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in STATA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience
Time Commitment and Compensation:
