Patricia M. Dennehy, RN, DNP, FNPC
HS Clinical Professor
Director of Nurse Managed Health Center at Glide Foundation
For the past 12 years, my program of service has focused on developing a community health practice lead by nurse practitioners, providing access to quality health care to vulnerable populations, tracking data and results on care (process and patient level outcomes), using the care model for quality improvement. In addition to service to the community, the center is a large teaching unit for nurses and other health professionals. Research has been conducted and the center has been recognized by several awards for quality in care, with the most recent from the Network for Improvement in Addiction Treatment (NIATx). I am active in the faculty Practice Committee at UCSF School of Nursing and the National Nursing Centers Consortium.
