Jyu-Lin Chen, RN, PhD, CNS
Associate Professor
My program of research focuses on the impact of familial factors on Chinese and Chinese-American children’s health, with an emphasis on obesity in children. My research utilizes child-centered and family-oriented methods from a bio-behavioral model. I have developed several intervention programs for improving healthy lifestyle and preventing childhood obesity in community settings and primary care settings.
